Who We Are

Sandra Idubor Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization based in Nigeria with a focus on hunger eradication and poverty alleviation in the country. Founded by popular Nigerian-Canadian Celebrity, Sandra Idubor, the NGO was registered in 2021 under the Nigerian laws. The NGO is led by Ms. Sandra and she is assisted by a team of selfless professionals who have volunteered their resources and time to push the NGO’s vision.

What We Do

We organize community feeding programs in African cities, with Nigeria as our pilot country. We give out free food (both cooked and raw food items) to the less privileged in society. We focus mainly on children, widows, the elderly, and disabled persons.

Our goal is to feed as many mouths in different Nigerian communities as we contribute our quota to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goal of achieving Zero Hunger in the world by 2030. We ensure that all our beneficiaries are provided with nutritious meals to keep them healthy and ensure that they lead productive lives.

Why We Do What We Do

Every year, many Nigerians die due to hunger related sicknesses. In 2020, the Global Hunger Index ranked Nigeria 98th out of 107 countries. This data is saddening as it shows that many Nigerian children and adults are suffering from malnourishment.

The same thing applies to other African countries. It has been estimated that there are over 257 million people on the continent who are experiencing hunger. And it has been predicted that these statistics are bound to rise if nothing is done to curb its increase.
